Future career aspirations: I want to work in public health specializing in health behavior and health promotion to make quality mental and physical health education and health care accessible to underrepresented and underserved communities. I would like to start working locally in community initiatives, then nationally, and eventually internationally to improve cross-cultural engagement that’s mutually beneficial and non-exploitative.
Top 3 goals for study abroad: To establish strong connections with the locals and my cultural immersion partner; To further enhance my ability to evaluate diverse competing perspectives on global issues; To learn more about the various cultures, norms, and customs within the country while eating a lot of good food.
