As far as my future career goals are, my aim in the future is to be a successful electrical engineer while at the same time continuing to improve my self, academic, physically and professionally. My future life, in terms of my self, would be a disciplined person with a healthy lifestyle, exercising regularly, and surrounded by positive influences from my social life. My academic life in the future would be continuing to work on my basic curriculum for my major, declaring my major in electrical engineering, continuing to study effectively and building a good relationship with my professor. Additionally, my academic life in the future would involve gaining experience through participation in research in circuit design and project teams in the electrical or engineering department, developing my resume, and developing networking relationships with companies. Moreover, my academic life in the future would involve contributing to my community through becoming a leader in NSBE, among other organizations, while at the same time mentoring others.

My main goals for my time abroad revolve around academic success, personal growth, and relationships. Firstly, I plan on focusing in class by staying on top of my academic course load, while further developing my knowledge of engineering concepts and professional development. Secondly, I plan to rebuilt relationships with my extended family, including my cousins, uncles, and aunts, who I have not seen since I moved to the United States. I hope to explore France and other parts of Europe with them, getting a chance to experience new cultures and try new things that will improve my perspective. Lastly, I hope to immerse myself in this experience by stepping out of my comfort zone, traveling safely, getting to Paris, and fulfilling my lifelong dream, while returning with new experiences and personal growth.
