After school, my future career goal is to work in the film industry as a director or an animator, creating stories that are enjoyed globally. I am especially drawn to storytelling that highlights subtle emotions and the complexity of people’s inner worlds or stories that allow you to escape for a moment. I am deeply inspired by Korean cinema, and I hope to continue learning from different cultures and storytelling styles. Ultimately, I want to grow into a filmmaker who tells meaningful stories and also travels.

My top three goals for my time abroad are to grow creatively, connect with a new culture, and continue growing into myself. As a film student, I really want to expand my perspective on storytelling by learning in an environment that already inspires me. Being in South Korea will allow me to observe and experience storytelling in a different way. I also want to fully immerse myself in the culture, not just as a visitor, but as someone who is open to learning from people and thinking about living there. Lastly, I want to challenge myself personally by stepping outside of my comfort zone. This experience is a big step for me, and I want to fully embrace it and allow myself to grow in confidence and independence.
