I plan to work within Cooperative Extension systems, merging my twenty plus years of culinary experience with community education, food access, and outreach. My goal is to help develop programs that support families, strengthen local food systems, and honor cultural traditions. I hope to become an educator and advocate who helps communities grow through shared knowledge, dignity, and access.

To learn how European communities preserve tradition through food, family, and shared culture, and bring those perspectives back to my community work.

To study alongside multinational students and gain a deeper understanding of global approaches to education, community support, and social systems.

To build the foundation for my transition into Cooperative Extension work by expanding my worldview, strengthening my advocacy skills, and growing as a nontraditional scholar.
