My career aspirations center around working in environmental standards and engineering, where I can help develop solutions that protect both people and the planet. In particular, working with rural agricultural and industrial communities that are predisposed to environmental injustice, specifically in air and water quality. My goal is to develop sustainable, long-term solutions that can be put in place to last for decades, while also integrating community centered education surrounding environmental health, safety, and sustainability.

1. Learn more about Ireland’s Net Zero Policy with in their Climate Action Plan.

2. Participate in research focused on methane gas emissions from farms.

3. Keep my perspective wide open to allow for full immersion in the study abroad experience. My goal is to meet as many people as possible and to learn and listen to their stories. As well as keep record about my perspective and experiences as a 1st gen college student abroad.
