The CET Jordan program represents the opportunity to fully step into the language and the life I am working toward. I plan to live in the Middle East long-term, I understand that true fluency is not optional; it is essential. CET’s language pledge, community engagement, and focus on both Modern Standard Arabic and the Jordanian dialect will allow me to grow beyond the classroom and into real linguistic confidence. I want to live the language to think in it, navigate daily life through it, and understand how it functions in real social and cultural contexts, which will shape me into a more thoughtful student and a more effective teacher.

I intend to use my study abroad experience as the foundation for a future devoted to Arabic education. The skills and cultural understanding I gain in Jordan will inform how I teach, how I connect with students, and how I contribute to Arabic-speaking communities. This scholarship would not only support my academic success abroad but also help make possible a future grounded in language, service, and cross-cultural understanding.
