University of Sydney
Future Career Goals:
My experience as a Chipstone-CDMC Undergraduate Summer Research Fellow inspired me to pursue graduate school, where I hope to further explore my interests in sustainable design, material research, and consumer behavior.
Top 3 Goals for your time abroad:
1. Explore Australia’s diverse wildlife, such as seeing a quokka at Rottnest Island, or viewing the bioluminescent beach at Jervis Bay.
2. Be selected to participate in a research internship experience within the University of Sydney, in order to oversee different aspects of careers in curation and art conservation, helping understand whether to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D.
3. Be able to enroll in the University of Sydney’s studio-based art or art history course (material culture), to prepare for graduate studies while fulfilling graduation requirements. Additionally, these courses will provide the opportunity to explore Sydney’s renowned museums.

A Message to Our Donors:
I am deeply honored to be a recipient of the Fund for Education Abroad (University of Sydney) scholarship. Studying abroad always seemed financially unattainable, however, this opportunity allows me to immerse myself in fresh perspectives while growing both academically and personally. Your generosity helps me explore my passion for design, art history, and sustainability internationally. It inspires me to give back by helping other low-income students realize that studying abroad is possible. Thank you!
