After I graduate with my BA in Psychology, I plan to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology with the goal of working directly with underserved communities to provide trauma informed mental health support. I aspire to develop culturally responsive interventions that help my community build resilience and access the care they need. Through my career, I hope to combine research, advocacy, and hands on clinical work to promote equitable mental health resources and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who are often overlooked by traditional systems of care.

1. Dive into a new culture to see the world differently and bring that perspective into my work in psychology.
2. Push myself to be more independent, adaptable, and figure things out on the spot.
3. Learn how other communities approach mental health and support each other, including holistic practices, and take ideas I can bring back home.
