Future career aspirations: My intent to work in the media industry is so that I can lend communication expertise to others. I want to be the strategy to the voices behind the underrated creative artists that are in the media. Specifically, I would like to build relationships and collaborate with people of color and LGBTQ+ communities. My lifetime career goal is to eventually start a record label as a multi-hyphenated artist. I want to give musicians a chance to express themselves freely through their craft, providing them a creative place without fear of being blackmailed or being used in the industry. It only seems fair, as I would hope someone would do the same for me.
Top 3 goals for your time abroad: I want to expand my knowledge of international journalism along with gaining personal and professional insights over the entertainment industry of Japan. Finally, I want to learn more about the overall culture.
