I can hardly believe it is my last week in Dublin. I feel like I just got here but also that I have been here for ages. There are so many memories I have made, and connections I have formed here that I will never forget and cherish for a lifetime. I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to study in and experience such an incredible place in Dublin and will be so sad to leave it and head home. Despite my sadness I am incredibly excited to visit London next week with a friend from home. We are going to many of the most popular sites in London, including Oxford, Windsor Castle, and the London Eye. London is one of the cities I have always wanted to visit and I am so excited that my dream will finally come true. I am also super excited to finally be with someone from home. While I have made such good friends here there is something about the comforts of home that I have been missing and canโ€™t wait to experience with my friend.

This past week I have been making sure to go to all of my favorite Dublin locations including pubs, restaurants and various other places. I also got into the holiday spirit by partaking in a gingerbread house making competition put on by my program coordinators. My partner Luke and I won the contest getting into the Christmas spirit but more importantly getting free coffees!

It will be bittersweet to spend my last few days in Dublin. I am excited to be finished with finals and all of the school work, but will be so sad to watch the days tick by. Saying goodbye to coworkers and teachers who have helped me so much during my time here will be difficult, especially not knowing when or if I will be back here. Regardless I will have to soak in the last moments here and live them to the fullest.

I want to take a moment in this last post to thank the FEA staff who awarded me this scholarship. I would not have been able to have such a great experience here in Dublin if it werenโ€™t for the money I received. I will be forever grateful for you all! I also want to thank anyone who has been following my blog throughout my trip, I hope it was entertaining enough!

Goodbye:)
