Future Career Goals:
After graduating from Stanislaus State, my goal is to attend a graduate program in statistics and/or data science. After getting a graduate degree in one of these fields, I aspire to use the skills I learned in my academic career to answer pertinent questions in either an academic and/or industrial research setting.
Top 3 Goals for your time abroad:
My number one goal is to learn more about South Korea and its culture. Specifically, I want to learn more about about the values and traditions in South Korea and explore how these translate to my own lifestyle back in the U.S. My second goal is to step outside of my comfort zone and make new relationships, both with fellow students studying abroad and residents of South Korea. My last goal is to learn more applied statistics in my courses abroad and gain transferable skills that will help me become a more qualified graduate school applicant.
