My future career goals are to work my way up in the Food & Beverage sector of the Hospitality Industry to become a Food & Beverage Director of a large hotel property or restaurant.
Top 3 Goals for your time abroad:
1. To gain an understanding of the international tourism industry at Centro de Estudios Técnicos TurÃsticos – University of Barcelona (CETT-UB).
2. Achieve fluency in Spanish for both personal and professional reasons. Professionally, it enhances my skill set in the hospitality industry. Personally, it helps me connect more deeply with my Hispanic heritage and friends who speak the language.
3. I want to expand my international perspective. Barcelona provides a new cultural experience on multiple dimensions: it’s a global city, it exposes me to Spanish and European culture.
