Top 3 goals for your time abroad: My top three goals for my time abroad are first, learning and conducting an immersive, and ethical field-based research on a topic I’m passionate about and will pursue in my graduate endeavors. Second, expand my worldview by seeking various opportunities to help myself become more culturally engaged in the country I’m visiting, such as trying new foods, learning the language, their customs, the many religions, meeting and knowing people and their lived experiences. Lastly, continue to learn and grow into an interculturally effective leader and global citizen, and live the experience of this once in a lifetime opportunity.
