My Second and Third Weeks in London

Read all the exciting things our scholars have been up to!

Hey there! I wanted to share with you some cool stuff that happened during my second and third weeks in London. It’s been quite an adventure, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!

First off, London is huge! It’s way bigger than Dublin, where I’m from. The city seems to stretch on forever with tall buildings and bustling streets. I’ve been getting used to all the excitement and the fast pace. It’s been really exciting exploring this big city.

One of the things that’s been super fun is using the “Tube.” It’s like an underground train that takes you all around the city. At first, it seemed a bit confusing, but now I’m getting the hang of it. It’s a fast and convenient way to get from one place to another.

Oh, and guess what? I absolutely love the double-decker buses here! They’re so iconic and fun to ride. Being on the top deck gives me a great view of the city. It’s like a mini sightseeing tour every time I hop on one.

I’ve also been doing a lot of exploring in museums. One of my favorites so far has been the Victoria and Albert Museum. It’s filled with all sorts of amazing art, sculptures, and historical artifacts. I spent hours wandering through the different galleries, learning about history and admiring beautiful things from around the world.

You know what else I’ve been dreaming about? Seeing an opera! London is famous for its incredible theaters, and I’ve heard that operas here are absolutely stunning. I’ve been looking up shows and hoping to catch one soon. The thought of experiencing the music and drama on stage really excites me.

I also found my spirit animal, a fox that sat with us for a while at the botanical gardens.

So, there you have it – my adventures during my second and third weeks in London. From navigating the Tube to enjoying double-decker bus rides and exploring museums, it’s been an unforgettable time. And I can’t wait to see what the next weeks will bring!
