Pre-departure Jitters

Published:

If you’re considering traveling abroad and would like to have some insight into what its like, you’ve come to the right place. Let me introduce myself, my name is Yasmin! I’m an upcoming senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying International Relations and pursuing a pre-medicine track! I’m going to be studying abroad in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain.

Countdown until I leave to Barcelona: 2 days
It’s approximately two night before my first international flight and I keep on going over the list of necessities I made. Am I forgetting something? What if I’m missing something I don’t need? The excitement I felt has faded into anxiety, but I know that it’ll be okay!

For now, you can watch my pre-departure video brought to you by the eery comfort of the Austin airport!
Stay tuned for my weekly posts!
