Isle of Skye Plus Hail

Published:

This past weekend, I took a trip to the famous Isle of Skye. We set out on Saturday morning and made various stops to places such as Loch Lomond and TheThree Sisters in Glencoe

Three Sisters.

Then we saw the Eilean Donan Castle and various Lochs and waterfalls:

Then we passed the Skye bridge into Kyleakin to stay at Saucy Mary’s, one of the hostels there. On our way back on Sunday morning, the heavens opened. There were horizontal downpour and hail. However, we braved both and hiked halfway to the Old Man of Storr.

The incessant rain resulted in beautiful waterfalls such as this one:

We also saw herds of sheep, cattle, and, goat on huge expanses of land. The trip to Skye was very scenic and worth every moment.
