Taeilorae Levell

Assalamualaikum, my name is Taeilorae Levell and I am a transfer sophomore at Howard University in Washington DC. I am majoring in Political Science and minoring in Arabic. I will be studying in the Middle East during Spring 2016 semester. The exact location is subject to change depending on varying political climates. I’ve made this decision because I have always had a passion for culture and learning through either music, art, fashion, or the unique foods they indulge in. I aim to hold a career focusing on refugees within the Middle East advocating for their justice and civil rest. I hope to volunteer a lot of my time to not only studying and making sure my Arabic is perfected, but to any type of community need within the area. I am truly looking forward to this life changing experience.
