Future Career Goals: I hope to go on to become a professor in archaeology, with a focus on using my research and knowledge to draw attention to the fact that disability care was present in the ancient world and the ways in which modern people tend to erase disabled individuals from history.
Top 3 Goals for your time abroad: 1. Become more familiar with non-American anthropological practices and viewpoints
2. Gain closer experience and more familiarity with the history and archaeology of the SWANA region
3. Learn more during my week in Tel Aviv about the ways my Arab and Sephardic cultures and fellow community members are interacting and navigating identity during a time of such tension in the Israel and Palestine region
