Short Study Tour

Published:

A trip to Reffen (a Copenhagen Street food market). This was set to close a few weeks after I arrived, so I was glad that I could meet up with peers from my home college to check it out. The Mexican place I grabbed dinner from was surprisingly good.

These photos are from my short study tour to Aarhus, Denmark, which is a few hours outside of Copenhagen. The tour went well. I was able to get to know my classmates in my core course better (especially considering that we would be spending a week together in Kosovo in a few weeks). During the trip, I learned more about Denmark under German-Nazi occupation, an occupation that I wasnโ€™t well aware of. We also got to visit some parts of a nuclear bunker that was built after the Nazi occupation to house the royal family and political officers. Overall, it was great to see more of Denmark and learn about the countryโ€™s history.
