Travels before studying abroad

I left my home in the San Francisco Bay Area more than a month ago and I’ve been living out of a backpack I borrowed from my aunt and a small carry-on. I first travelled to Williamstown, Massachusetts with hopes of spending a week there before flying out of country. Because I needed to obtain four visas for my four month long excursion, my trip was delayed. I found myself in Providence, Rhode Island for more than a week before finally flying to Japan. In Japan, I worked as a camp counselor at the International School of Asia, Karuizawa Summer School for middle-schooler from all across the globe. I encountered students from Tibet, Nepal, Thailand, Bhutan, Palestine, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan and Japan. From there I had an excruciating 32 hour transit through Moscow to reach Barcelona, Spain. I met a friend from my university and we will be travelling through Marseilles and Paris, France until I eventually end up in London, United Kingdom to meet up with other students from my study abroad program. From London, we travel together to New Delhi and finally Bodh Gaya, India.
