A place known for its rich histories, Gyeongju was the capital of the Silla dynasty. Its Bulguksa temple holds many Buddhism art pieces such as paintings and sculptures. Along with that, many historical buildings and attractions in Gyeongju like the Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, which was created by the King after the Silla state became the first unified kingdom, and Cheomseongdae, which is one of or the longest living astronomical observatory in Asia.
