I want to thank the Artigas-Etchegaray family for the support they offered to me as a scholarship recipient. I had always wanted to participate in a study abroad program, ever since I had first heard about it, but I never thought it would be possible due to financial difficulties.
However, thanks to the Artigas-Etchegaray family, I was able to do an internship abroad in Hong Kong during the summer of 2018. This internship allowed me to explore one of my passions, which is design. I was able to put ideas into images and create a more pleasant user experience.
I was also able to experience what it is like to work in a non-profit, which was something I was interested in. None of that would have been possible without the help the Artigas-Etchegaray family provided. I wanted to also thanks FEA for their effort and work every year to help low-income and minority students like me, to go abroad and expand their career path.
