Planning for the Future

I’m going to try to keep this brief because it’s 11:45pm right now and I want to go to bed but I have so many thoughts swirling through my head right now. I spent the better part of the past 2 weeks thinking about how to really get the most out of my experience. It finally hit me when I was sitting at the pre-departure orientation for my trip. My adviser had told us that if we liked the idea of going to school out of country, they could help us arrange it. Well, I did. I looked through all of the books for schools in different countries I would be interested in studying in. To make a long story short, all of the foreign schools I was looking at required a mastery level of the local language, which I am currently unprepared to demonstrate. So, I did a bit more research and found that I can do what I want to do while still attending my own school. I planned the next 4 semesters carefully, however the schedule is not set in stone. It is as follows:

Fall 2012 – Tokyo, Japan

Spring 2013 – Wenzhou, China

Fall 2013 – Seoul, South Korea

Spring 2014 – Hyderabad, India

I want to make my next 2 years memorable. There are a million more things I could say but I’ll save it because I’m getting tired. Lol.
