I have come back from a 4 day stay on a farm where I learned about permaculture. CarpeMundi students and I had a lovely time at the Sahainan farm. I worked hands on with the family, volunteers and the enviroment. I planted banana trees, did some bamboo carving, cooked with the fresh farm picked produce, made coconut oil and milk, created a garden in which I planted long bean seeds, and made compost from buffalo manure, rice husks and effective micro-organisms. Overall, the students helped Sandot while learning from being hands-on with the farm.
