More orientation today – mostly just walking around, getting a tour of the stunning campus (After about the 90th strangely awkward introduction to a random member of the faculty, the girl next to me whispered, “I smell sweat and tension!”) and finally getting our internet up and working.

I’m really adoring the people in this program, there hasn’t really been any cliqueing up and people seem super enthusiastic and happy to be here.

Mostly, I’m amazed at how much I love it here – how people’s complaints of it being loud, dirty, etc. are true but are SO easily overlooked by the presence of everything else.

The result!

We had our picture taken for the local Kannada newspaper.

Our first Western food abroad at our new favorite restaurant - Le Cristaal.
