Hiking Hallasan Mountain was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do in my life so far. After hiking up to the summit I learned from other hikers that Mt. Hallasan is South Korea’s tallest mountain and that it’s designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Although it was a difficult and long trek up the mountain, I hope to someday come back and hike up the summit again.
