This week’s theme is Torii Gates and Shrines which are found all over Japan. A cool thing about living in Japan is seeing Torii gates (a traditional Japanese gate) and Shrines which can be found almost anywhere in Japan, including cities. The pictures submitted with this post are two Torii gates and shrines near my university and dorm which I saw when walking around. Even in the city these sacred places have a dedicated plot of land for them to reside in, undisturbed from the city architecture and urban planning.
