It’s hard to believe that it’s December already. My study abroad term will end in the end of December, which means I have less than a month to spend in Japan. Actually, the Fall semester in Japan ends in next year’s February, but the school allow me to return early so I could start the Spring semester at OSU. In exchange, I will have to do extra assignments as well as taking the final test before leaving Japan.

“Long Live Our Friendship!”

It has been getting cold recently, and winter is just right behind the door. However, it’s the friendship with many wonderful friends I have made in Japan that has kept me warm. Rikkyo is a pretty small school, and it takes only about 5 minutes to walk from the front door to my classroom. But it always takes me more time than that because I keep running into someone I know on the way. I knew that I would make new friends in Japan, and now they have become one of the reason that makes me want to stay.

We had a potluck party today. It was, of course, such a wonderful time. However, the thought of not being able to see most of them again in many years makes me really sad. We had talked about many things today, including what we want to become in the future. Let’s do our best to make our dreams come true, my friends!!!
