Third day in Barcelona and I stumble upon el Mercado de la Boqueria. The city apparently knows of my love for food. Especially fresh fruit and sweets. Already, I’ve noticed one of the things Spaniards value most is the quality of their food. It’s no wonder why they spend hours eating at every meal. They have good food. Here’s the kicker: all of the delicious AND healthy foods are ~cheap~! They make it a priority to produce quality foods at a price that everyone can enjoy.
Imagine how much healthier both physically and mentally the United States would be as a whole if healthier food was the cheaper option…
