Hi! I’m Jill, a sophomore from The College of New Jersey! I’m excited to share my journey of choosing FIE London for my study abroad experience. The opportunity to study in such a beautiful city is a dream come true. Here’s why I chose FIE London!
I chose the FIE program mainly because of the classes. I liked how the classes all include field trips that relate to what you are learning. So far, I’ve been on many trips. For my global marketing class, we visited Royal Albert Hall, Harrods, and Chelsea Football Club. For my music class, we went to see the Tina Turner Musical on the West End and attended a surprise Sofar Sounds gig in Battersea. In my British Life & Business class, we went on a walking tour focused on London’s sustainability initiatives. In Finance class, we toured London’s financial district. It’s great to be out of the classroom and be able to take in the beautiful city.
Another reason I chose FIE is because It’s located in a beautiful area that’s close to so much. One of the things I like about London is that I can walk around. Since getting here, I’ve taken more steps than ever before. I walk so much now, and I love just walking around and exploring the city. It has allowed me to discover so many cool hidden spots. Like this one!
I couldn’t be more thrilled to be beginning my journey with FIE! This experience has already exceeded my expectations, and I’m very excited to see what else lies ahead! Thank you for following along on my journey and there’s a lot more to come!
