As I returned to the United States, I realized how much I learned and grew during my time in Ireland. I grew in many ways – socially, academically, and personally. I found inspiration in Ireland’s beautiful landscapes, became a more independent student, and strengthened my passion for research. I now see machine learning research through a different lens, and I believe I am better equipped to use it to create a positive impact for others. I also learned to be myself completely and formed friendships that I know will last a lifetime.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who played a role in making this opportunity possible. Education continues to be the greatest gift I have ever received, and I am proud to say that I have now had the opportunity to study abroad. I hope to carry everything I learned with me into the future, work hard toward my goals, and inspire others to pursue their own dreams, just as many people supported and inspired me.
