This experience so far has taught me a few lessons, Adaptation will not just naturally come, you sometimes have to put your pride to the side, to create comfort within yourself, at first I was really concerned because I kept on getting stares in Korea, I had to put myself in their shoes for a second and realize, I’m almost an alien to them, at first it bothered me, but I shifted my mindset, instead of taking the stares in a wrong way, I started seeing it as curiosity. It helped me navigate a lot better. I can say I feel a lot more comfortable here. There’s so many beautiful things to see, so much good food to eat and i truly am learning a lot from the class I’m taking. I look forward to the for the rest of the month, and I’m truly excited to learn more about this beautiful country.
