This week, I would actually like to use this journal platform in a way that I have been doing all year long, but at the same time, I haven't used it int his way yet. What I mean by this is alluded to by the title of this entry: Turbulence. I decided to call it this because this past week has been perhaps the most annoying of the whole year. I happened to deal with a rather interesting personal conflict that I can't say I've experienced during my time abroad yet. I'd be lying if I said that it was fully resolved by now, but it's not as it was a week ago. I won't go into the details of it here, but needless to say, it has added an additional layer not yet seen by me on my journey abroad here in Paris. It was certainly interesting and what really helped me was confiding in some of the best people that I've ever been fortunate enough to meet and call my friends. Other than that, I was also a tad bit stressed because of a situation regarding one of my classes and course registration and such; this still hasn't been fully sorted out either, but great friends always make everything better and all-in-all, I'm feeling pretty optimistic about both occurrences. It was overall a rather long week and as I sit here on this beautiful, yet cold, Saturday, I can't help but think how amazing studying abroad truly is and even though nothing is ever always sunshine and rainbows, I'm grateful for every little wonder I'm experiencing.

As far as the pictures go, Friday night, I went to a PSG soccer game with some friends and we had a great time. The other picture is of a rainy street near my residence; I lost a bet to a friend and I had to buy her ice cream for it, so we had some ice cream on a cold, rainy night and it was crazy, but wonderful, just like studying abroad.
