When I was planning to study abroad I knew that I wanted to travel to countries throughout Europe, so visiting Morocco and having the opportunity to be in North Africa is an experience that I will always be grateful for.

The trip to Morocco was included in my program in Seville. From Seville we went to a city in Spain called Ceuta and from there we took a ferry to Morocco. It is crazy to think that you can go from one continent to another without taking a flight. Before coming here, I did not realize how close Spain was to North Africa and how easy it is to travel there from here.

When we went to Morocco we visited the beautiful cities Tetuan, Chefchoaen, and Tangier. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by camels and we rode them along a beautiful beach in Tangier. It was such an incredible, surreal experience for me. These cities were filled with natural beauty and the streets were so lovely to explore. The food was also so good while we were there. We ate chicken, couscous, and had the most delicious mint tea and desserts.

If you ever have the opportunity to go to Morocco, I definitely recommend it!
