Hi, my name is Kindra Wyatt. I grew up on an organic flower farm in the Appalachian Mountains and spent eight years of homeschooling developing my appetite for adventure, love of creativity and pursuit of knowledge. I attend Hollins University where I am an International Studies major, Anthropology minor and am pursuing certification by the Batten Leadership Institute. I am thrilled about my year abroad and plan on spending my time in Bangalore, India delving into issues of sustainable development, the globalization of culture and socio-economic inequality in post-colonial nations, as well as studying Hindi, Sanskrit and Kannada.
