With about 24 hours left before I leave to México City, México, here’s a pre-departure video with a little information about me, my trip/program, and me not freaking out (YET) about one of the most meaningful and significant experiences in my academic/personal/professional life.

keywords just-in-case:

DACA: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a program implemented in June 15 of 2012 as an executive action under the Obama administration; under it, specific people who came/were brought to the U.S. at a young age who meet certain requirements may be considered for deferred action (in this case, for us this means protection from deportation proceedings) and work authorization which we must renew. Note, this is NOT a pathway to citizenship.

Program title: NAFTA, Narcos, and Neoliberalism
