Shanghai, here I come!

I will be leaving America and heading to Shanghai on August 15, 2012. I will be touring Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Wuxi–the four famous landscapes of China. Afterwards, I will be going to Guangzhou to visit a Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital and dental office for an annual check up.

In the meantime, I am currently packing for my 1 year trip! According to my Hong Kong friend, the humidity of Hong Kong makes you sweat just by being outdoors for 5 minutes. There will be no dryers and washing clothes daily will be necessarily to clean the sweat stains. Great.

For those of you who will be studying at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), please be forewarned that you may encounter the same housing issues as I have this year. HKU has been anticipating four new fully furnished dormitory skyrises to be completed by this summer, but still is not complete–leading most incoming international and foreign exchange students to look for off campus housing themselves.
