Part 4:

8/4/2018 The Tenth Emotion: Anger

Anger, โ€œa strong feeling that makes you want to hurt someone or be unpleasant because of something unfair or unkind that has happened.โ€

Whenever youโ€™re feeling this emotion, I assume that someone made you angry. Anger isnโ€™t a pleasant emotion, but itโ€™s certainly a emotion that you need to control. Sometimes itโ€™s not people that made you angry, it could be a certain situation, news, or something that happened to you. Regardless of it all, you have to main composure and be cool. Vent when you need to vent.

In times of negative emotions, find it in yourself to possess a firm resolve and the strength to turn your anger into a motivation. In life, there are often situations when youโ€™re given the choice of losing yourself or having a strong will to not let your emotions overflow. Ideals like hope, honor, and love are grained and understand with time; therefore, in times of anger and despair, do not lock up your heart, and certainly do not ever let negative emotions take over. Think of positive, happy thoughts to sustain your heart. I know that you can do it, cause youโ€™re that cool.

Nikki: โ€œBefore getting angry, you have to consider the other personโ€™s feeling before releasing your emotions. You canโ€™t bottle it up, so be smart on how your handle your anger.โ€

8/5/2018 The Eleventh Emotion: Friendship

Friendship, โ€œa friendly relationship, or the state of being friends.โ€ After some thought, I decided to add, โ€œTrue friendship is a relationship that can survive the test of time and remain unconditional.โ€ As well as that friendship is a combination of affection, loyalty, respect, and trust.

The day that youโ€™re feeling this emotion, is the day that youโ€™ve met a new friend, a new bond that youโ€™ve developed, and because you did so, I am so happy for you! Our relationship with others is the most thing important in our lives. Remember that there are all kinds of friends. True friends are the relationships that last forever, youโ€™re always there for each other, no matter where you are, what you do, who you become, whatever decisions you may make, and so on. I believe that you can only meet one or two in your whole life, people thatโ€™ll be with you forever! I want to tell you that if you canโ€™t get along without putting someone else down, it canโ€™t be real friendship. I say this because friendships arenโ€™t perfect. People laugh, bond, and say jokes; on the other hand, they can get mad, cry, and hurt our feelings. Friends are people who can accept each otherโ€™s feelings without a second doubt, people who are always willing to lend a ear to listen to your problems. They help you without expecting anything in return. They listen to your long stories, laugh at your crude jokes, and always stay with you. How do you make friends? I have a completed guide called: โ€œReubenโ€™s How to Make Friends In 3 Simple Stepsโ€. If youโ€™re ever curious about my famous novel, just send me a message and Iโ€™ll give you a free copy!

Joelle: โ€œNakeshia tags me in memes, and honestly, sometimes you just need a friend to tag you in a funny meme.โ€ Though this quote is unserious, Joelle brings a light mood into this letter.

8/7/2018 The Twelfth Emotion: Fear

Fear, โ€œan unpleasant emotion or thought that you have when youโ€™re frightened or worried by something dangerous, painful, or bad that is happening, or might happen.โ€

This emotion is quite complex, as fear is subjective. Itโ€™s important to embrace our own fears, and to take a step forward when times get tough. Without fear, people wouldnโ€™t know what it feels like to have bravery. Bravery awakens when youโ€™re consumed by fear, have courage to move forward. Fear isnโ€™t evil nor a bad thing. It allows you to learn from your weaknesses, and you can grow to be more resilient and braver than before. Fear makes our feet stop at the edge, but never feel as if youโ€™re all alone, because your friends and family are always there for you! Because you are not alone, you have nothing to fear. In life, I’ve given up many times because of fear. I regret it a lot, and I wish I could relive those moments, but I canโ€™t. Remember that opportunities and success come to those who do not fear to stand in the batterโ€™s bat. Become the person who want to hit the ball more than anything, and swing with all your might! Fear is a major inhibition to our aspirations, realizing that is the first step to overcoming our weaknesses.
