Mi Familia Chilena

Hola a todos,

This week, as I finish my last couple of days in Chile, I want to highlight my host family. My host parents Marta and Napo took me in as one of their own during my time abroad here in Chile.

I have dearly appreciated the care and love they have showed me! Furthermore, they always provided me with great food and many blankets for the chilean winter. In addition to providing a place to stay and  great food, I also felt more immersed in Chilean culture. My host mom would have family gatherings, and I would be right there along with them as a new member of the family. This made my experience so much more authentic. I came to Chile for many reasons and have had quite the fulfilling time, but all of my great experiences here started from the care given to me by mi familia chilena.

Con amor,

Chris
