Today we went to Itaewon to buy traveler’s phone cards. Shini, my Australian friend whom I met through Joseph, remarked that it was more of like an American street with many restaurants of foreign counries. I saw Turkish kebabs, sandwich joints and coffee shops.

The deepest impressions of South Korea has got to be the roaring winds blowing against the thick walls of our hostel. It’s bone-chilling cold here! I’m wearing leggings and jeans, two layers of rib undershirts over a down coat, and I’m still fuh-reezing! Those who will be visiting South Korea betwee November – January be forewarned that you’re in for the coldest months of the year!
