Finals, and Saying Goodbye

I haven’t had a lot of time to get up to anything these past weeks – finals are trying to kill me.  I have a written final in all four lecture courses, a performance final in koto class, and an oral exam in spoken Japanese!  It honestly feels like there’s way too much going on in my life right now.  Plus, the good friends I made this semester are all going home by Christmas – I’ll be all alone for winter break…

Well, at least not everyone at the school is going home.  My group of five close friends are all leaving, but of course my Japanese friends will still be here, and once finals are over I can busy myself with work once again!  The textbook is coming along really well – I can’t wait to see the final product!

Once things clear up and I have time to go out again, there are so many places I still want to see!  I want to go to Gifu prefecture, Okayama prefecture, Koya-san in Wakayama…next semester holds so much potential!  I’m sad this semester is ending, and sad that I’ll have to watch my friends go, but I’m excited for what’s still to come!
