Hiya Friends!

The end of last week and beginning of this week was a bit crazy with everything ending! On Friday, I had my final class and my final corresponding assignments due for my internship course. Last night, I had my final exam for my Management course that Iโ€™m taking through UF, and the final day of my internship is tomorrow. So sad!

I have come to truly enjoy my internship and all my coworkers on the marketing team. I have learned so much and Iโ€™m extremely appreciative of everyone taking their time to teach as much as the could to ensure I got the most out of this placement.

These past six weeks with Hydrogen Group have been extremely successful and Iโ€™m very confident that Iโ€™ve learned many skills that Iโ€™ll use in many of my future endeavors.

Kathleen, one of my roommates back at school in Gainesville, came to visit me last Monday-Wednesday! She was studying abroad in Madrid and brought a friend over to London with her! It was so great to see her and catch up on both of our experiences with studying abroad so far!

She had to catch a train to Amsterdam Thursday morning to meet other friends, and I had my internship during each of those days, but Iโ€™m still so happy she came to visit and I cherished the moments we had!

This past weekend, we spent fitting in a few more things before our time here came to an end. I have the privilege of studying abroad in London during the summer when Buckingham Palace (the Queenโ€™s residence) is open to the public during the months of July and August while she vacations in Scotland.

My friends and I, of course, had to take advantage of this opportunity! We devoted Friday to exploring the palace and truly learning about its incredible history. On Saturday, we went to Brighton for the day. This weekend was Pride in Brighton which we were unaware of until we got there, but it was such a fun experience!

Brighton is beautiful and a way different atmosphere than the other places weโ€™ve visited in England so far. Sunday, we spent the morning exploring Camden Market before taking a trip to the Prime Meridian in the afternoon. It was cool to be able to see this, but at the same time, we did have to pay 11 pounds (as a student discount) to stand over the line. But hey, we had to do it!

I still canโ€™t believe how fast these three months have gone by and how I need to start packing to go back homeโ€ฆ stay tuned next week for one more final blog!
