Excited and sad to go back home

This week I made a list of things I want to do in Spain before going home. I did not realize that there were so many things I kept leaving for later. Now that I have three weeks left, I want to do everything. Some things are simple like going for a walk alongside the river by my apartment, or take group pictures with my friends in front of the aqueduct. Other things will take more time such as taking a day trip to Toledo or truly be a tourist one day in Madrid.

There are also a lot of things I want to do in Segovia. I keep thinking that I have all the time left in the world but reality is that between final projects and school, I have a few free days left.

This past week I have started to get excited to go back home. I am sad because going back home means I will stop seeing my friends/roommates here in Segovia. I will miss the amazing and beautiful views on my way to class. I am also going to miss seeing new things every day. However, I am happy because I will get to see my friends and my family. I will get to eat some of my favorite food during the holidays. I will also get back to my old routine and start a new semester in my home university which I really love.
