End of an Era

I have reached the end of my study abroad and  must say everything has been amazing. I made so many connections and had so many experiences in my time that I never want to forget. Some of my favorite memories were going to Disneyland Paris and truly had the happiest day there. Going there truly made me feel like a child again. The second was having my family come to town and enjoying a week with them. It was special to have them there at a time where I felt the most imposter syndrome.

Getting to experience another academic environment was also good for me as well. My home uni is very small with 700 students and Chester had over 14,000. That was a huge jump for me. I learned that I much preferred a bigger group of students than my small institution.

I have truly grown as an academic, writer, friend and person. I want to be a citizen of the world and continue to explore and experience all that I can. I have become better at adapting to new things and people. I feel stronger as a person more willing to learn.

What I will miss most are the friends I made while being there. I met so many great people during my time. Meeting great people can really make your time a lot better. So if you want to try to study abroad make that jump because I can reassure you it is worth it.
