This week I visited Stalin’s Bunker with some friends.  We got to explore around the dark and creepy caves of the bunker. We also saw an interesting history film about the cold war. It was the first time I was able to see a video about the cold war from the other sides perspective, so i found it very facinating. This bunker was built to protect certain people in case of an emergency during the cold war. Today it is a fun museum with little activities and many exhibits.

Aside from Stalin’s bunker, this week I also visited my friend Rafael’s house. It was a very fun and nice experience. His mother cooked delicious food for us,a russian pie “pirogi” filled with meat and potatoes. It was my first time visiting a Russian home other then for tutoring. I played some flight simulator video games with Rafael, and we all talked a lot and shared stories in Russian.
