Good morning everyone,

I am writing my blog from Cambodia, it is 8:14 a.m. I arrived last night around 11:00 p.m. After 17 hours of travel, we finally landed on Asian soil, I immediately felt the heat and humidity. My cohort which consists of 7 Portland State students took a taxi to our hostel, here in Cambodia. So far, I have faced language barriers in the airports and in public. Getting around and communicating by body language, I feel like I am out of this world, almost like an alien… Anyhow, I do not now what to expect from today’s adventure but we shall see. This is Jessica Soto reporting from South East Asia, stay tuned for more updates and pictures!
