"Hello" in your host country's language: Hallo Home Institution (your U.S. University/College): Drexel University Expected graduation year: 2025 Destination city & country: Berlin, Germany Program provider: Drexel in Germany: Berlin School of Economics and Law Major/minor: Finance & International Business / Management Information Systems Demographics: African American/Black, Immigrant, First-Generation College Student Future career aspirations: I have just switched my major to Finance and International Business at the beginning of the term. Mastering how different nations do business according to their culture was one of my main interests while switching majors. As part of our core study of International Business, we are expected to interact with people from different backgrounds all over the world. To be successful in International Business, one needs to be able to think globally and across cultural boundaries. During my stay in Germany, I believe that the program will benefit my future as a professional in the International Business industry. Top 3 goals for your time abroad: – Be able to conversate in German by the end of my stay. – Travel throughout Europe and learn about different cultures. – Document my journey and show other underrepresented minorities like me that they can travel the world and study abroad as well.
