I have been making progress with my essays, and I have finished the fourth one. I have already started working on the next one for the module on Foreign Policy Analysis and Management. The topic I have chosen for this essay is Chinese foreign policy in the South China Sea. I did quite a bit of reading last week about this subject, and yesterday I started to write. I hope I can have it done by the middle of this week. On Thursday after class, I went to London because I wanted to try a Peruvian restaurant located in the Covent Garden area. A friend had told me about it a while back, and I thought it would be nice to try some Peruvian food in the UK. I was also interested in this restaurant because it belongs to a well-known Peruvian chef. I ordered ceviche, one of my favorite dishes! I was not disappointed; the food was good and the atmosphere too! It was very busy as well. It is nice to see that Peruvian food is popular in other parts of the world. I like to try different restaurants and food from other countries. I also find that food can take a person back to different moments in life to relive lovely memories. Over the weekend, I went to Canterbury to buy small Christmas gifts for friends in the neighborhood. They have been so wonderful from the moment I arrived that I wanted to get them a little something to show them my appreciation before I leave. I can believe time has gone by so fast! And soon, I will travel back to South Carolina. In the meantime, I am making the most of my last weeks of school. Today is the beginning of another week, and I am going to campus because we have a film to watch for the module on Terrorism and Political Violence. The film will be screened at the Gulbenkian Arts Centre.
