My career goal is to work within the live entertainment and music industry. I have a passion for marketing, advertising, graphic design, and social media, and I aspire to have a career helping to promote and coordinate events and artists within the industry. Another career goal is to work in a position that allows me to live in Los Angeles or New York City, and have the ability to travel within my job.

My first goal while studying abroad is to embrace speaking the native language. I have been studying Spanish for six years, yet still feel nervous and uncomfortable speaking it with others. I want to fully utilize the skills that I have. I am hopeful that this will help me to not only expand my knowledge of the Spanish language, but also help me better connect with locals. My second goal while studying abroad is to explore and connect with as many local sites of history and culture as I can. As a student studying culture, I believe it is important for me to fully immerse myself in the history I will be living in. I want my time abroad to feel like I fully lived in and understood where I was, and not as though I was just a tourist. My third goal for studying abroad is to travel to other countries outside of Spain. Living in Seville for four months is a once in a lifetime opportunity. During this time I want to take full advantage of my location by traveling to nearby cities and countries such as Portugal and Morocco. This will allow me to further expand my experiences with different people and lifestyles.
