A Weekend in Krakow, Poland

On our first day in Krakow, we did an Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum tour. It was a very sad, emotional, and hard visit, but it was definitely worthwhile. I learned more about what had happened in the camps, and it was definitely much more emotional being there physically than reading about it in a textbook. Out of respect, I did not take pictures of my time at the museum, but there is a photo diary below of my time in the town (Krakow).

Pancakes for Dinner in Krakow
Tour of Wawel Royal Castle (the castle was oddly similar in architecture to the Royal Alcazar in Seville).
The old town square in Krakow (I stopped by one of the market stalls and picked up some rings for friends back home).
